The Ministry of National Heritage and Culture Division hosted a dinner in honour of a high-level cultural delegation from the Republic of Tajikistan, currently visiting Pakistan to participate in a joint Pakistan–Tajikistan Cultural Event being organized at Lok Virsa, Islamabad, and Lahore.
The Tajik delegation was led by Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan, Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, and Ms. Sattoriyon Matlubakhon Amonzoda, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan, along with other senior officials.
Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, hosted the dinner on behalf of the Ministry. From the Pakistani side, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Huzaifa Rehman, Parliamentary Secretary Farah Naz Akbar, Secretary National Heritage and Culture Division Asad Rehman Gillani, and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, the Federal Minister underscored the importance of cultural diplomacy and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cultural cooperation and people-to-people exchanges with Tajikistan
