ISLAMABAD (special crosspondent) – The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, on Wednesday. The discussions focused on the latest regional developments in the wake of the signing of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Both sides underscored the importance of advancing collective efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy.

The Saudi ambassador expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s ongoing contributions to regional peace and security. He specifically acknowledged Pakistan’s significant role in mediating the Islamabad MoU and its efforts through the R-4 initiative.

During the meeting, both dignitaries reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia across all areas of mutual interest. The positive trajectory of relations between the two nations was evident, building on existing cooperation such as the deal for the Jeddah Cricket Stadium, and broader economic ties between Pakistan and Africa.
