ISLAMABAD (special crosspondent) – Federal Minister for Human Rights, Azam Nazeer Tarar, officially announced on Monday that Pakistan has assumed the chairmanship of the OIC Ministerial Conference on Women for the forthcoming two-year cycle. Addressing a press conference following the conclusion of the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women, the minister noted that this transition signifies the profound confidence that member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) repose in Pakistan.
