Iranian Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Stability With Saudi and Omani Peers

TEHRAN (special crosspondent) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate telephone conversations with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, during which the leaders discussed the latest regional developments, bilateral relations, the security of the Strait of Hormuz, and ways to strengthen diplomatic cooperation for regional stability.

According to reports, the conversations focused on the current situation in the Middle East, maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz, bilateral ties, and the importance of enhancing joint diplomatic efforts. Much like Iran Rejects US Diplomatic Proposals Over Unreasonable Demands and Constraints, Iran stressed the need for continued dialogue and cooperation among regional countries to reduce tensions and promote lasting peace and stability.

During the discussions, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that maintaining continuous diplomatic engagement among regional states is essential under the current circumstances to preserve stability and effectively address common challenges.

Diplomatic Initiatives for Regional Peace

The Iranian Foreign Ministry said Araghchi emphasized to both Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Sayyid Badr Albusaidi that strengthening joint diplomatic initiatives is vital for maintaining peace, security, and stability across the region. Such efforts remain critical, especially as Netanyahu Rejects US Pressure for Military Withdrawal from Regional Conflict, highlighting the complexities inherent in current regional diplomacy.

The two sides also exchanged views on expanding bilateral relations, recent regional developments, and issues of mutual interest. They reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close consultations and diplomatic coordination to help reduce regional tensions and promote cooperation among neighbouring countries. These discussions reflect broader ongoing trends, similar to when the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister to Visit Pakistan for Strategic Bilateral Talks was announced to bolster regional strategic partnerships.
