LAHORE (special crosspondent) – A high-level business delegation of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, led by President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol, conducted a significant business engagement in Zurich to foster deeper economic ties with the Swiss business community, institutional representatives, and industry leaders. The visit aimed to identify new avenues for bilateral trade, investment, technology cooperation, and enhanced market access between Pakistan and Switzerland.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Switzerland, Dr. Marghoob Saleem Butt, along with the President of the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) Ariste Chiabotti, Vice President of SACC Nathan Kaiser, LCCI Executive Committee Members Shouban Akhtar and Asif khan, as well as representatives from Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE) and various prominent business leaders. The program was jointly organized by the SACC and Switzerland Global Enterprise at the S-GE premises in Zurich.

During his address, LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol emphasized that Pakistan and Switzerland possess substantial untapped potential for expanding commercial relations, particularly through proactive private-sector engagement. He noted that the delegation’s objective was to forge practical business linkages, identify strategic investment opportunities, and establish partnerships that would lead to increased bilateral trade and industrial joint ventures.
