ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Wednesday met with US Ambassador Natalie Baker in Islamabad and discussed ways to strengthen Pakistan-US relations, investment opportunities, regional security and efforts for peace and stability.During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on promoting bilateral relations and explored opportunities for increasing investment cooperation between Pakistan and the United States. They also discussed the latest regional situation and ongoing efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability.Regional security matters and Pakistan’s role in promoting peace were also reviewed. The two sides agreed to strengthen mutual contacts in order to further enhance bilateral cooperation.US Ambassador Natalie Baker appreciated Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and acknowledged the country’s contributions in addressing security challenges.Speaking on the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan stands as a strong wall between the world and terrorism. He highlighted Pakistan’s continued efforts and sacrifices in combating terrorism and maintaining regional security.
