RIYADH, September 26, 2026: The Chiefs of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye held a meeting in Riyadh on Friday, September 25, under the framework of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, reviewing the security situation and threats facing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting was attended by the Chiefs of Defence Forces and Chiefs of General Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Türkiye.

The participants reviewed the security situation and threats facing Saudi Arabia and strongly condemned the attacks targeting the Holy City of Makkah as well as civilian and economic infrastructure in the Kingdom.

The participants appreciated the vigilance and professionalism of the Saudi Armed Forces in ensuring the safety of the people and safeguarding the security of the Kingdom.

The meeting also discussed measures to further strengthen cooperation among the armed forces of the three countries, with particular focus on intelligence sharing, military coordination and integration of defence capabilities.

The participants noted that enhanced cooperation would contribute to strengthening deterrence and collective defence among the three countries.

The military leaders also reaffirmed the longstanding relations and mutual trust between the peoples and armed forces of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye. They said the Riyadh meeting reflected the strength of the defence partnership among the three countries and their shared determination to translate the commitments under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement into effective military cooperation.

The participants reaffirmed their commitment to collective defence, demonstrating the resolve of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye to defend the security, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
