BAKU: The Embassy of Pakistan in Baku participated in the National Clothing Day event organized by the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, showcasing Pakistan’s rich and diverse cultural heritage and traditional attire.

Pakistan’s colourful traditional and regional costumes, truck art, jewellery and handicrafts attracted considerable appreciation from participants and visitors at the event.

Diplomatic missions of China, Korea, Iraq, Tajikistan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Russia also participated in the cultural event, presenting their national dances and traditional costumes. The presentations created a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity and highlighted the importance of cultural exchange and mutual understanding among nations.

The event was attended by Azerbaijani government dignitaries, representatives of the arts and literary communities, and members of the diplomatic corps.

The participation of the Embassy of Pakistan further highlighted the close and historic cultural bonds between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and contributed to strengthening people-to-people and cultural ties between the two brotherly countries.
