ISLAMABAD (special crosspondent) – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif underscored the enduring, fraternal bonds between Pakistan and Qatar during a meeting with Sheikh Naif bin Eid Al Thani, Chairman of Ritaj Group and Tamim Holdings, in Islamabad on Monday. The meeting, which focused on bolstering bilateral economic cooperation, saw high-level representation from the Pakistani government.

Key officials in attendance included Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik, Prime Minister’s Adviser Haroon Akhtar, Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kayani, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi. Referencing his recent visit to Qatar to convey condolences on the passing of the late Amir’s father, the Prime Minister expressed his anticipation for the upcoming official visit of the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to Pakistan.
