Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Meets Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Makkah
MAKKAH: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at Al-Safa Palace in Makkah during his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Upon his arrival at Al-Safa Palace, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was warmly received by the Saudi Crown Prince before the two leaders held a bilateral meeting.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed Pakistan-Saudi Arabia bilateral relations, economic cooperation, investment opportunities, and the overall regional situation. They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding brotherly ties between the two countries and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif accompanied the Prime Minister during the meeting.
The meeting is being viewed as another significant step toward deepening strategic, economic, and political cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
