Rs10 Billion Sanctioned to Support Export Sectors: Jam Kamal Khan
Islamabad, August 8: Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has announced that the Ministry of Commerce has sanctioned Rs10 billion for the textile and apparel industry and other export-oriented sectors under the Duty Drawback and Technology Upgradation Schemes.
The initiative is aimed at improving industrial liquidity, supporting technological upgradation and promoting growth in Pakistan’s exports.
Sharing the development on X, Federal Minister Jam Kamal Khan said the sanctioned amount would provide financial support to the textile and apparel sector as well as other export sectors.
He expressed hope that the funds would improve liquidity for industries and enable exporters to enhance their export performance.
The sanctioned funds are expected to provide much-needed liquidity to export-oriented industries and facilitate investment in technology and production capacity. The measures are also aimed at helping Pakistani exporters improve their competitiveness and expand their presence in international markets.
The initiative reflects the government’s continued focus on strengthening Pakistan’s export sectors, facilitating industrial growth and creating an enabling environment for sustainable expansion of exports.
