ISLAMABAD (special crosspondent) – Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, has held substantive discussions regarding a proposed investment by Honeywell Technologies aimed at modernizing and expanding Pakistan’s refinery sector.

During a high-level meeting in Washington, D.C., the minister convened with a delegation from Honeywell Technologies, spearheaded by its Vice President and General Manager, Barry Glickman. Senator Aurangzeb formally welcomed the initiative, highlighting that modernizing the local infrastructure is essential to bolster Pakistan’s domestic refining capacity and significantly curtail the national reliance on imported petroleum products, a topic often discussed in broader energy dialogues such as those involving Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik who discusses expanding energy cooperation.
