ISLAMABAD (special crosspondent) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, during which the two foreign ministers discussed regional and international developments, including recent developments in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday, the two ministers exchanged views on the evolving regional and international situation and discussed matters of mutual concern. The two sides also reviewed recent developments in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb, two strategically important maritime routes that play a significant role in international trade, shipping and energy transportation.
